Look of the day; black n white n a pop of color

Today I work at the Makeupstudio Education. I have black pants (that you cant see on this picture…) together with our tshirt and a black n white blazer.  I love the black and white look. Especially together with a pop of color on the lips! Hot pink lipstick is a favourite of mine when I dress in black and white. I matched it with a low sleek ponytail. I rarely have my hair parted in the middle, like I do today, cuz I think it looks a bit harsh…  Do you agree? Will I scare my students today you think? 😉

Hope you all will have a fabulous evening! I know I will!!!

The lipstick

I love lipstick! I have loads. There is really no number that is too many! 😉 The one I am wearing today is called Pure red from Lumene Natural Code. These lipsticks are my new favourite. So smooth and moisturising yet pigmented! Hooray! They are great for a every day use since they colorful but sheer. What do you think? Would you wear this?

The makeup for today: a perfect eyeliner

I´ve had an urge for a perfect eyeliner for the past days. You know a deep black, bold statement liner. So today I went for it. I matched it up with soft pinks and peaches to keep it neutral enough to wear for work (danceclasses).

Base: BB cream nr 2 from Leezi, loose powder also from Leezi, bronze powder H&M

Blush: a peach coloured blush from an unknown asian brand

Eyes: the pink shadow from Nouba quattro nr 628 over the entire eyelid, then I swept the peach blush over the crease and outer corner of eye. Eyeliner from Vsoya and mascara from L´Oreal. I used browpen nr 3 from Populart on my brows.

Lips: Lipgloss Innocent from H&M

Whilst we´re at eyeliners, have any of you tried on the sticker eyeliners that are out there now? I am übersceptic… I think I stick to the liquid ones!

How on earth did I manage before???

I have absolutely no idea how I got by before I found this amazing lipbalm!!! It takes care of my really dry lips but also my extremely dry cuticles and other dry spots that allergic people like myself tend to get… You can get it at the pharmacies in Sweden but I don´t know if you have it in othor countries. Anyone know of this? Anyways, if you can get a hold of this one I can really recommend it, especially if you are sensitive and/or allergic!

My look for non traditional easter dinner wiff fiancé…

Yeah we just wanted to spend time together this easter day. So after a looong walk in the sunshine, coffe downtown, some chillin in the sofa at home we decided to go out for dinner. We ended up ( as usual 😉 ) at a local italian restaurant with the best pizzas ever! 🙂 Chevré toast as starter, real thin and crisp italian pizza and then pannacotta to tip things of, yummy! When we got home I asked my fiancé to take some photos so I could share my todays look with you guys and I got company by the cutest lil model you´ve ever seen! 😉 Always nice to get a proper welcome when one steps inside the door…

The day about me, me, me!

Yup that was yesterday! I spent the entire day doing only things for myself. That was a day loooong overdue! 😉 I think it started with the scare visit at the hairdresser… LOL Read about that HERE. So yesterday I took the longest shower ever to take time for full body and face scrub, shaving legs, foot massage and hairtreatments. I also had lunch out with a friend, Bought me some new makeup and ended the day with a canceled class that turned into coffee and chocolate cake with my lovely Gretchen! 🙂

But today is a new day and I’m off to work in the sunshine wearing my new lipstick!

Makeup of the day; an updated version of classic 80´s colour

Today I used he classic 80´s colours bubblegum pink, blue and pale orange in a new more updated version of a 80´s makeup. I got the inspiration from an old sweater I used to have back in the 80´s and that I suddenly got to think about today. 🙂

IMG_1789[1]

Base: BB cream from Leezi nr 1, loose powder also from Leezi, bronze powder from H&M.

Blush: Vision from FACE and a blush that I bought from Lightinthebox.com and that isn´t in stock at the moment (similar to Aprikos from FÄRG).

Eyes: I used four different eye shadows for this look; Vitsippa, Linnea, Saffra and Scilla. All from FÄRG. I started with Linnea over the entire eyelid, after I applied Saffran also over the entire eyelid to create a sort of pinkish orange base. After that I applied the blue colour, Scilla, under the eye and on the outer corner of the eyelid up into the crease. Then I went back with Linnea (pink) over the middle and outer corner of the eyelid, I also applied a little of Linnea under my eye to get the blue a little purple. I added more of the orange, Saffran, on the inner part of my eyelid to create a gradient look of orange, pink, purple, blue. Then I applied a white shadow, Vitsippa, under my brow and in the inner corner of the eye and carefully blended all colours so there where no sharp edges in between the colours. I curled my lashes and added mascara from Vsoya. I used Popularts browpen nr 2 to fill in my eyebrows.

Lips: For this look I wanted a soft and discrete lip so I used a soft pink shade, Goldbear nr 6.

And boy do I raise my left eyebrow on all pictures! LOL It´s so funny how I spend time on getting my eyebrows on the same level when I fill them in and then out comes the camera…. and with that “the camera-brow”! Do you have something you always do on pictures?!

Makeup of the day; Spring Glow

Howdy peepz! Today the sun was up and it wasn´t as cold as it has been here lately. Hooray! (Do note that it´s still cold enough for me to wear a thick cardigan….) 🙂 That inspired my makeup today. Also the fact that I was able to wear makeup today made me happy since I have had an allergic reaction in my eye for the past week and been forced to go out without my makeup on. 😉

IMG_1752[1]

Base: I used a mineral powder from .FÄRG in the colour Nordic Winter Fresh. I looooove .FÄRG´s mineral powders. They are so light that you don´t feel like you´re wearing makeup at all and yet they give you a light cover making your skin look like porcelain with a slight shimmer in it. Perfect for light and fresh makeup looks! I use Nordic Winter Fresh when I am at my palest (early springtime) and Nordic Summer golden when I get a bit of a tan. The times in between I like to mix the two to match my skintone perfectly. After the foundation I applied a bronze powder from H&M , that also has a light shimmer in it, over the face edges, chin, cheeks, forehead and nosebone, all places where the sun would naturally tan your face first.

Blush: I started with applying a bit more of the bronze powder underneath the cheekbone (where your cheeks are naturally the thinnest) then I applied a blush from FACE in colour Vision over the bronze powder. Today I also added a highlight on my cheekbones to really get a sunkissed look. I used the shimmer shades from .FÄRG in colour Bronce.

Eyes: The eyes I wanted to keep simple yet stunning and when that´s my aim I always turn to bronzes and golds. This time I used the shimmer from .FÄRG that I also used on the cheekbones, Bronce. I used THIS brush to apply it since normal brushes isn´t all too good for loose shadows. For best result just pat the loose shadow firmly onto the lid. I used a blender brush for the edges and then added a highlight, Muffin from Maleupstore, under the brow and in the inner corner of my eye with the same blender brush. My favourite is nr 217 from MAC. To finnish of the eyemakeup I applied one coat of Volume Million Lashes Excess from L´Oreal. The brows are filled in with Popularts browpen nr 2. Don´t forget to fill in your brows, they are the frame to the artwork of your eye!

Lips: I lined my lips with pen nr 11 from .FÄRG. Then I covered them with same pen but just lightly before adding lipgloss nr 6 from Goldbear.

Voilá! A quick and easy sunkissed look for sunny days!
