Tis been a while etc etc…

So my plan backfired…lol I thought I´d have time and inspiration to get back here but it has taken me a coupple of months. Sowwy! 😉 So last time I promised to show something from the new stuff I got from Kiko´s in Paris. Here´s my latest nails where I used color nr 373 from Kiko over the entire nail and just added a lil spark on the outer/upper corner. Such a easy way to add a little zazz on an ordinary polish! Hope you´ll enjoy! And that you missed me! ;P

Nails of the week; Gradient Glitter

So I know it’s been awhile…. The thing is that I got this marvellous offer to go back to my old makeup school but this time as a teacher trainee! Yay! This means that my time is very very limited between that and my danceclasses and everything… Well for now I’ll leave you with this weeks nails that I made with a glitter polish and Seche Vite top coat. Easy and fast was just what I needed today! 😉

Crafty night; Cardigan + Dress = Jacket (Part 2)

It’s just a little after 3 am and I just put away the needle and thread… I’ve been super inspired two nights in a row and now my jacket is really coming along! (Read Part 1 HERE) Hooray! I can’t wait for it to get ready so I can show you! 😉 But for now I will leave you with just a little sneak peak of my master piece! LOL

Good night everyone!!!

Nails of the week; Guilty Glitters

Today was at the salong to refill my acrylic. My plan was to keep the nail bare afterwards, since it´s been so long since I was without nailpolish. However, the nail technicians where I do my nails are fast as heck and very good in price all though if you get the “wrong” one of them the result aint exactly at its best… Today I got the “wrong” one… So no bare nails for me this time arround! 😉 I covered the little flaws up with a new glitter polish that comes with a small brush for naildecorations. I just painted over and over until I covered the entire nail. Still kinda neutral but with a fun bling! 🙂 I really like this glitter because of its different sized glitter, makes a nice variation and depth to the nail.

Glitterpolish from BK nr 03 and Dry fast top coat from Seche Vite.

Crafty Friday Eve-DIY bangles

I felt creative this eve! It was a long time ago since I crafted due to the lack of creativity… But this eve I suddenly felt an urge to do something about my old silverbangles that I never use cuz i don´t like silver that much… Sooo…I brought out my hobby paint in gold, antique gold and bronze from my crafting cabinet (yes I do have an entire cabinet with crafting thingies, I don´t know how anyone can live without such things as gluegun, crystal gun, giftpapers and strings in an endless variety of colours and textures, beads, seaquins etc etc etc) that I used when I repainted a tray and candlesticks a while ago.

The tray and some of the candlesticks.

Then I painted some bangles in these different goldtones. I also painted a wider bracelet as I seldome use it only because it´s silvercoloured…

The bangles on drying.

I used a small papercup to hold the bigger bracelet when drying.

I also made a few other bangles of my old plain silverbangles. These ones is nice both alone and together with others. I love stacking bangles on my arms! The sound they make has always been a sound I liked, just like when spring comes and you can hear your high heels against the pavement! 🙂

From upper left there is;
-Two plain bangles that I tied together with gold and red wire, using three different kinds of red sequins to create life and vibrance.
-Four plain bangles that I “braided” with a dark brown leatherthread. I used three coppercoloured beads to get a variaty and unexpected element, I also dapped gold colour over the bracelet to create a “rougher” look.
-One bangle that I wrapped a gold wire arround using different pearls in white and pink as well as buttons in the same colour scheme for a girly flirty look.

Bottom row from left;
-Three plain bangles that I wrapped a gold lace arrond and finnished off with a big bow. This lace has a wire at the ends so it´s good for shaping, like doing bows and such.
-Two plain bangles that I wrapped a suede band arround and finnished off with a tassel. This one is my favourite since I love the colour of the suede and I LOVE tassels!

Which one, if any, would you wear?

Veckans naglar

Woop woop!

Pöss på er!
