Tis been a while etc etc…

So my plan backfired…lol I thought I´d have time and inspiration to get back here but it has taken me a coupple of months. Sowwy! 😉 So last time I promised to show something from the new stuff I got from Kiko´s in Paris. Here´s my latest nails where I used color nr 373 from Kiko over the entire nail and just added a lil spark on the outer/upper corner. Such a easy way to add a little zazz on an ordinary polish! Hope you´ll enjoy! And that you missed me! ;P

1. I always start my days with coffee and a cookie.

Well if we talk about makeup (so I can´t say nailpolish 😉 ) it probably is lipstick. If I can´t wear anything else I go for lipstick cuz it´s easy, fast and can add a pop of color to any dull day!

The hope of that I can inspire and/or help someone with their wellbeing.

 
3. where would you live if you could pick anywhere?

Hm, probably somewhere warm but for now I am just where I like to be. 🙂

Always dreamt of Paris and on friday we´ll be going! Yay!

I love food. Period. But if I have to say something I think dumplings has a special place in my heart.

I need to work on my patience…

…yes I do! Today (saturday, so technically yesterday but I´m an nightowl…) I ordered me some new nailart fun! Yay! Amongst other I have ordered me a stamping thingie and some stamping plates. I have been wanting to try one of those for the longest of times! I KNOW it is a holiday now and I KNOW delivery time is about 3 weeks…yet I just can´t wait until it arrives and I almost jumps whenever my phone buzzes in case it would be my package arriving. I also KNOW there is no delivery during night time in Sweden. But still. Miracles happens right? Do you guys stamp? Is it as much fun as I think? 😉

Nails of the week; Happy Dotted Easter!

Friday always means new look on my nails (but yes I realise it´s passed midnight and that it will look like this post was put up on saturday, however I still think it´s friday so hmpf if you say otherwise 😉 ) and since it is easter I wanted to use fun colours. I decided on a yellow background with colourfull dots.

For this look I used a total of 7 different polishes including the dry fast top coat from Seche Vite. I used a yellow nailpolish from Depend (356) as a base then added dots using the back end of a match and the head of a sewing pin. The orange polish is also from Depend (124). The turquise dots are made with the turquise polish in this trio and the pink ones from the pink in this trio. The green and dark purple dots are made of two of these polishes. Dots are a rather easy way to make a fun pattern on your nails and according to me a good way to start with nailart! Don´t rush putting on your topcoat though because the dots do need their drying time! (If you look closely you´ll see that patience isn´t my strong side…;) )

Nails of the week; Guilty Glitters

Today was at the salong to refill my acrylic. My plan was to keep the nail bare afterwards, since it´s been so long since I was without nailpolish. However, the nail technicians where I do my nails are fast as heck and very good in price all though if you get the “wrong” one of them the result aint exactly at its best… Today I got the “wrong” one… So no bare nails for me this time arround! 😉 I covered the little flaws up with a new glitter polish that comes with a small brush for naildecorations. I just painted over and over until I covered the entire nail. Still kinda neutral but with a fun bling! 🙂 I really like this glitter because of its different sized glitter, makes a nice variation and depth to the nail.

Förändringar på bloggen/Changes coming up for the blog

Det är förändringarnas tid mina vänner! Fr.o.m. imorgon, fredag, kommer denna blogg vara tillgänglig även för engelsktalande vänner runt om i världen! För de lite äldre trogna läsare jag har hoppas jag att detta inte ställer till med allt för mycket besvär! Framåt, uppåt mot bättre tider!

Veckans naglar

Då var det dags för veckans naglar igen! Lövly! Denna gång kände jag för lite mörkare lack då jag haft naglarna ljusa rätt länge. Självklart dekorerade jag dem med lite bling även denna gång! 😉

Jag har målat mina naglar med ett lack från Make Up Store som heter Congo och tyvärr inte längre finns i deras sortiment. 😦 Lacket är djupt mörkbrunt med diskret guld/brons skimmer i. En riktig hit och ett av mina favoritlack! Efter två lager som jag låtit torka ordentligt har jag satt små ofärgade stenar på en rad från nagelbandet till toppen på den yttre delen av nageln. Det lite trixiga är att få stenarna i jämna rader med lika mellanrum… Om man tittar noga har jag nog lyckats lite sisådär men det är ju sällan man verkligen granskar naglarna när man väl är klar. Ovanpå stenarna (och självklart resten av nageln) har jag avslutat med ett överlack. Denna gång blev det Dry fast top coat från Seche Vite. Och ja, jag kan bara sälla mig till miljarder andra kvinnor (och män) som världen över rosar detta överlack. Detta är verkligen det bästa överlack som jag provat. Nagellacket torkar fort och ytan blir slät och härligt högglansig. Dessutom tycker jag att nagellacken håller sig snygga lite längre när jag använt detta överlack till skillnad från andra. Det var ett tag sedan jag använde detta överlack nu och jag blev tom överraskad på nytt över hur bra det är! När det kom har jag för mig att det var lite trixigt att få tag på men idag finns det på Kicks, Åhléns och liknande för ca 99 kr. Woop woop!

Weekend nails!

Jag pimpade naglarna inför helgen tidigare ikväll. 🙂 Och vad är bättre inför helgen än glitter och stenar?! Om ni vill återskapa looken så rekomenderar jag att lägga ett ljusrosa nagellack först iom att jag har ljusrosa akryl på naglarna nu. Därefter har jag H&Ms glitterlack “Pink Bling Bling”. Jag har lagt två lager, ett på hela nageln och ett tjockare på tippen som jag fadat nedåt mot nagelbandet. Avsluta looken med tre stenar/kristaller på diagonalen över nagelns yttre kant. Jag har använt mig av nailstickers denna gång då dessa blir plattare på nageln än enskilda stenar/kristaller. Avsluta ALLTID med ett överlack för att få nagellacken att hålla längre och ge en glansigare finnish. Jag har den biten kvar att göra då det är superviktigt att allt lack torkat innan överlacket appliceras. 🙂

1månads anniversary

Wiiiiieeeeee! Hurra hurra! Idag firar min blogg 1 månad! Det måste väl firas?! Så hur 17 firar man en blogg?! Frågade om den ville ha tårta men fick inget svar. Frågade också om den önskade något speciellt i present…men inget svar… Kan det vara så att min blogg är stum? Hade det varit jag som hade fyllt 1 månad hade jag svarat med ett rungande JA om någon frågat om jag ville ha tårta! Jag hade dessutom lämnat in följande lista som svar på vad jag önskade mig i present;

Nya naglar!

Idag har jag varit och fixat naglarna på salong. Det va minsann inte igår! Det gick undan utav bara den när min rara vietnamesiska nagelteknolog filade på. Måste nog tyvärr erkänna att de kanske inte är de finaste jag någonsin sett men å andra sidan så kommer jag nog inte kunna hålla mig så länga innan jag målar dem i någon härlig färg med någon härlig dekoration. Jag börjat nog bli lite beroende av nailart… Har dessutom några härliga (och förhoppningsvis bra) lack beställda som jag längtar efter att få leka lite med. 🙂

Naglarna är i akryl, vilket jag av någon anledning föredrar framför gelé. Jag valde att lägga ett ljusrosa pulver istället för det vanliga genomskinliga då tyvärr mitt gröna Stargazer lack måste blivit gammalt och färgade mina naglar så där fult gula… Suck och bye bye Stargazerlacket! Tur att jag, som sagt (eller blir det skrivet här?), har nya lack på g så det inte blir så tomt i nagellacksförrådet här hemma! 😉

Nu ska jag dricka upp drycken på bilden och sen ta tag i disken. 🙂
