Tis been a while etc etc…

So my plan backfired…lol I thought I´d have time and inspiration to get back here but it has taken me a coupple of months. Sowwy! 😉 So last time I promised to show something from the new stuff I got from Kiko´s in Paris. Here´s my latest nails where I used color nr 373 from Kiko over the entire nail and just added a lil spark on the outer/upper corner. Such a easy way to add a little zazz on an ordinary polish! Hope you´ll enjoy! And that you missed me! ;P

The makeup for today: a perfect eyeliner

I´ve had an urge for a perfect eyeliner for the past days. You know a deep black, bold statement liner. So today I went for it. I matched it up with soft pinks and peaches to keep it neutral enough to wear for work (danceclasses).

Base: BB cream nr 2 from Leezi, loose powder also from Leezi, bronze powder H&M

Blush: a peach coloured blush from an unknown asian brand

Eyes: the pink shadow from Nouba quattro nr 628 over the entire eyelid, then I swept the peach blush over the crease and outer corner of eye. Eyeliner from Vsoya and mascara from L´Oreal. I used browpen nr 3 from Populart on my brows.

Lips: Lipgloss Innocent from H&M

Whilst we´re at eyeliners, have any of you tried on the sticker eyeliners that are out there now? I am übersceptic… I think I stick to the liquid ones!

How on earth did I manage before???

I have absolutely no idea how I got by before I found this amazing lipbalm!!! It takes care of my really dry lips but also my extremely dry cuticles and other dry spots that allergic people like myself tend to get… You can get it at the pharmacies in Sweden but I don´t know if you have it in othor countries. Anyone know of this? Anyways, if you can get a hold of this one I can really recommend it, especially if you are sensitive and/or allergic!

Do you have any favourite lipbalms? Do tell me about them!

“The black discussion”

Hm, yes I tend to have this discussion with most of my friends. Now most recently with the lovely Gretchen, or well more her, uhm brother, one could say. 😉 Robert as soooo many of my stylish swedish friends adores black. Well let´s take this back to womens fashion where I am a little more at home. Most swedish women wears mostly black from fall until spring and then maybe during the summer a pop of colour can be worn. I am opposite. I never (well let´s say til at least 90% of never) wears black during fall, winter, spring. I prefer browns as a base and just loooves to use all sort of colours into my outfits. During summertime I can wear an occasionally black or black and white outfit. When everyone else is wearing colour. Hm, am I just obstinate?! At least I am not worse then that I can admit a defeat… I was browsing through fall 2013 fashion and actually found outfits I surely could wear! And yes Robert, if you are reading this, you know by what designer… 😉

All four of the wonderful creations above are by one of my favourite designers, John Galliano. The first two is from his fall line and the second two from his resort collection. Yes I would wear this outfits! All though that don´t mean I will be starting to wear all black! 😉 Maybe an occassionally dress or pant or so…but I still am more of a colourful lady! The more the better, right? 😉

My look for non traditional easter dinner wiff fiancé…

Yeah we just wanted to spend time together this easter day. So after a looong walk in the sunshine, coffe downtown, some chillin in the sofa at home we decided to go out for dinner. We ended up ( as usual 😉 ) at a local italian restaurant with the best pizzas ever! 🙂 Chevré toast as starter, real thin and crisp italian pizza and then pannacotta to tip things of, yummy! When we got home I asked my fiancé to take some photos so I could share my todays look with you guys and I got company by the cutest lil model you´ve ever seen! 😉 Always nice to get a proper welcome when one steps inside the door…

Dress: Top Shop
Boots: Scorett
Watch: Regal from Ur & Penn
Bracelets: mix from H&M, Colours of India and my own DIY bracelets
Earrings: H&M
Super cutest model: The chubby cat Kyra

Base: Mineral powder from FÄRG, in Nordic Winter Fair
Blush: Vision from FACE
Mascara: Vsoya
Brows: Populart browpen nr 3
Lips: I mixed lip pens from FÄRG nr 5 and 9, then added lipgloss from Goldbear nr 20 over it

Makeup of the day; an updated version of classic 80´s colour

Today I used he classic 80´s colours bubblegum pink, blue and pale orange in a new more updated version of a 80´s makeup. I got the inspiration from an old sweater I used to have back in the 80´s and that I suddenly got to think about today. 🙂

Base: BB cream from Leezi nr 1, loose powder also from Leezi, bronze powder from H&M.

Blush: Vision from FACE and a blush that I bought from Lightinthebox.com and that isn´t in stock at the moment (similar to Aprikos from FÄRG).

Eyes: I used four different eye shadows for this look; Vitsippa, Linnea, Saffra and Scilla. All from FÄRG. I started with Linnea over the entire eyelid, after I applied Saffran also over the entire eyelid to create a sort of pinkish orange base. After that I applied the blue colour, Scilla, under the eye and on the outer corner of the eyelid up into the crease. Then I went back with Linnea (pink) over the middle and outer corner of the eyelid, I also applied a little of Linnea under my eye to get the blue a little purple. I added more of the orange, Saffran, on the inner part of my eyelid to create a gradient look of orange, pink, purple, blue. Then I applied a white shadow, Vitsippa, under my brow and in the inner corner of the eye and carefully blended all colours so there where no sharp edges in between the colours. I curled my lashes and added mascara from Vsoya. I used Popularts browpen nr 2 to fill in my eyebrows.

Lips: For this look I wanted a soft and discrete lip so I used a soft pink shade, Goldbear nr 6.

And boy do I raise my left eyebrow on all pictures! LOL It´s so funny how I spend time on getting my eyebrows on the same level when I fill them in and then out comes the camera…. and with that “the camera-brow”! Do you have something you always do on pictures?!
