Look of the day; black n white n a pop of color

Today I work at the Makeupstudio Education. I have black pants (that you cant see on this picture…) together with our tshirt and a black n white blazer.  I love the black and white look. Especially together with a pop of color on the lips! Hot pink lipstick is a favourite of mine when I dress in black and white. I matched it with a low sleek ponytail. I rarely have my hair parted in the middle, like I do today, cuz I think it looks a bit harsh…  Do you agree? Will I scare my students today you think? 😉

1. I always start my days with coffee and a cookie.

2. I talk to myself whenever I need to figure things out.

3. I sing loudly in the shower.

4. I love books! To read, to look at, to decorate with etc etc

5. I suck at being practical….style before comfort anyday! 😉

6. I hate to pack when I travel, always gives me anxiety. May have something to do with fact 5…

7. I spoil my sphynx kitties.

8. I always have some kind of nailpolish.

9. I am slightly obsessed by handbags and probably have too many if you ask a sane person.

1.  If you could only pick one product to represent your style what would it be?

Well if we talk about makeup (so I can´t say nailpolish 😉 ) it probably is lipstick. If I can´t wear anything else I go for lipstick cuz it´s easy, fast and can add a pop of color to any dull day!

 
2.  what inspires you to blog?

The hope of that I can inspire and/or help someone with their wellbeing.

 
3. where would you live if you could pick anywhere?

Hm, probably somewhere warm but for now I am just where I like to be. 🙂

 
4. What city would you like to visit?

Always dreamt of Paris and on friday we´ll be going! Yay!

 
5. Whats your favourite food?

I love food. Period. But if I have to say something I think dumplings has a special place in my heart.

Just one?! 😉 Coffee. Cookies. Candy. Oh and playing WOW, but hush…

 
7. who makes you happy?

My finacée without a doubt! There is noone that knows me better, gets me better and knows how to handle me better! 😉

Swedish, of course since it´s my native tongue, English, German and Spanish.

The lipstick

I love lipstick! I have loads. There is really no number that is too many! 😉 The one I am wearing today is called Pure red from Lumene Natural Code. These lipsticks are my new favourite. So smooth and moisturising yet pigmented! Hooray! They are great for a every day use since they colorful but sheer. What do you think? Would you wear this?

So it’s been a while….

I know. Waaaay too long. So what have I been up to since last time? I am now certified in lashextension! 🙂 And I got a new job as a makeupteacher! Yay and hooray! Got many more exciting things coming too! 😉 BUT I’m planning on getting back here!

Todays look is all about the lips! Isadora Zinfandel. Very autumny, don’t you think? 😉

The favourite lipglosses?!

Everybody loves lipglosses right? I´ve always been a lipstick girl and am really happy that lipstick is back on the scene again, however nothing beats the lightness and easyness of a good lipgloss right? I thought I´d share some of my favourites at the moment with you guys. Feel free to respond with your favourites, I´d love to hear what you guys use and love too!

My absolute favourite right now is this pink lipgloss from Goldbear (nr 6). It is soooo priceworthy and really has a high gloss without shimmer to it, a look that I love.

Another favourite is the richly shimmery lipgloss from MAC´s Marilyn Monroe Collection fall 2012. It´s opposite of the Goldbear with it´s shimmer and is perfect for evening wear, alone or ontop of a gorgeous lipstick/pen.

Clarin´s Colour quench lip balms has always been a favourite for as long as I remember. It´s something about how it feels on the lips. So smooth and just nice. 🙂 They come in lovely colours too, with Sweet Papaya being my alltime favourite.

I always keep a coupple of H&M glosses arround too, both clear (those are perfect over lipsticks, alone or to be blended with your favourite eyeshadow) and tinted ones. I like the easy access of H&M products and their glosses actually have rather high quality for it´s price.

These are just a few of all lipgloss that´s in my life/makeupbag…lol I might share others at another time. For now theese are my toplist! 🙂 So what´s your lipgloss toplist?

Blush; peachy blush from Lightinthebox.com that is no longer available

Eyes; Cashmere from Makeupstore in outer corner of the eye and globe line/crease. Then I dusted Bronce shimmer from FÄRG all over the eyelid. I ended the look with Muffin from Makeupstore under the brow and in the inner corner of eye. Mascara from Vsoya and brow pen from Populart nr 3.

Valentines day with Mandy!!!

First of all, Happy Valentines Day everybody! ❤

I can end one of my obsessions today. Cuz today I'm spending Valentines Day with Mandy! I found her the day before yesterday and so my search is finally over. I found my perfect pink lipstick! Remember my post about it? No? Check it out HERE. I matched her up with a couple of cute butterflies on my nails. Mandy is from Makeupstore and a lively and lovely colour. I also got a nice surprise when I got to work today, newly arrived jewellery from Aarikka! So cute and fun! Wearing ring and earring on the pictures.
