This weeks nails is my first attempt at a galaxy nailart. The pictures didn’t turn out well unfortunately and I apologise for not cleaning up the edges before posting… I am just a little lazy and am gonna let the morning shower tomorrow work it’s magic and do most of the cleaning. 😉
I started with a base of a dark blue nailpolish from Kiko. Then I cut up a makeup sponge into small pieces while the polish was drying. The idea is to use tweezers to pick up the sponges and dip into nailpolish before applying the polish with the sponge onto the nail in galaxy patterns. I started with a light yellow nailpolish from Depend. Then adding a turquise, green and fuchsia from Lightinthebox.com. I also applied a gold polish from Sally Hansen and for a finishing touch a gold glitter from Lightinthebox.com. As usual I finished off with the fast dry top coat from Seche Vite. Voilá!
I really like this look and I must say that the pictures does not show off how cool they really are! I will definately do this look again and try with different colours just for the fun of it. 🙂
